Using the site

madcool.dev is an informational site. You can read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, and send it to whoever you like. You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, or present our writing as your own.

What belongs to whom

The words, code samples, brand marks and generated artwork on this site belong to MadCool LLC. The product names are ours. Quoting a paragraph with a link back is fine and welcome. Republishing a whole article is not.

Code published in the build log is illustrative. Where a snippet is offered for reuse the post says so explicitly; otherwise assume it is there to be read, not copied into production.

Links out

This site links to six product sites and to third parties. We are responsible for what is on madcool.dev. We are not responsible for what is on the other end of an external link, and a link is not an endorsement.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, or free of errors. We write carefully and we still get things wrong.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MadCool LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law rules.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
